Biography

Scott is a litigation attorney whose practice focuses on oil and gas related matters, environmental issues, commercial matters, and all areas of energy and natural resources. As an associate attorney, Scott represents producers, operators, royalty owners, mineral owners, landowners and additional parties in a range of oil and gas issues.

Scott graduated cum laude from Oklahoma City University with an undergraduate degree in Political Science with a Pre-Law Emphasis. Following his undergraduate studies, Scott attended the University of Oklahoma Law School where he graduated with honors and ranked within the top 10% of his class. While attending law school, Scott earned the am jur award for the highest grade in a law school course in Civil Procedure I; Civil Procedure II; Contracts; Legislation and Regulation; Mineral Title Examination; and Trial Techniques. During law school, Scott was a member of the Oklahoma Law Review where he served as an assistant managing editor. Scott is also a member of the Order of the Coif.
