Biography
John Berry is a litigation attorney focusing on oil and gas-related matters, environmental issues, real property disputes, and general litigation before state and federal courts. As an associate attorney with the firm, John represents producers, operators, working interest owners, mineral owners, landowners, and additional parties in a wide range of oil and gas issues.
John graduated summa cum laude from Oklahoma City University School of Law in 2024, ranking in the top 5 of his graduating class. While attending law school, John earned the CALI Award for the highest grade in a law school course in Oil & Gas Law, Oil & Gas Regulation, Secured Transactions, Trial Practice, Civil Practice & Procedure, Evidence, and Legal Research & Writing. John served as staff editor of the Oklahoma City University Law Review, competed on the ABA Appellate Advocacy Moot Court team, and was treasurer for the Energy Law Association. John was awarded the Judge Alfred P. Murrah Sr. Outstanding Academic Performance Award and the Charles Nesbitt Energy Law Award for these academic achievements.
John and his wife currently reside in Oklahoma City.
