Biography

Jordan Volino is a corporate transactional attorney whose practice focuses on oil, gas, and energy related matters, business advisory services, mergers, acquisitions, and divestitures. Jordan has represented clients in connection with the purchase and sale of a broad range of assets, including upstream and midstream oil and gas assets and companies, as well as mineral and real estate transactions. Jordan also regularly advises clients on joint development and farmout agreements, exchange agreements, gathering and processing agreements and other commercial arrangements concerning the development of oil and gas properties, as well as related surface use agreements, easements, and other land use matters.

Jordan is an Oklahoma native and graduated with honors from the University of Oklahoma with a major in Letters with a focus in Constitutional Studies, History, and Business in 2013. He then went on to achieve his Juris Doctor from the University of Oklahoma College of Law in 2016, with a certificate in Energy Law, and being named to the Order of the Barristers.

While pursuing his Juris Doctor, he was member of the American Indian Law Review and co-founded the Oil and Gas, Natural Resources, and Energy Journal (ONE-J), serving as ONE-J’s inaugural co-Founder and Managing Editor for its first edition. In addition, Jordan competed on the University of Oklahoma College of Law’s Energy Negotiation Team, achieving success as the law school’s first national champion team of the annual South Texas College of Law’s Energy Law Negotiation Competition.

Professionally, Jordan has served on the Executive Committee and Board for the Oklahoma City Association of Professional Landmen, the Legal Committee for the Petroleum Alliance, a Committee Member for the Eugene Kuntz Oil & Gas Conference, as well as other civic and charitable organizations. In addition, Jordan has authored numerous legal publications regarding oil, gas, energy, and contractual matters, and frequently lectures at industry events and conferences, and has been recognized multiple times in the Oil and Gas Investor’s “Who’s Who in A&D and Capital Formation” magazine.
